Fuel Spill Clean-Up

The jet fuel spill was first detected at Kirtland Air Force Base's Bulk Fuels Facility in 1999. Since then, many agencies and organizations, including the Kirtland Partnership Committee, have committed to implementing a final remedy for soil and groundwater contamination remediation. This is essential in order to ensure that Albuquerque’s drinking water remains unaffected by this spill.
